Wildlife and Scenic Guided Tours

RMNPhotographer Tours provide the most dynamic, personalized tours in RMNP. Our private guides travel with you and your family in the comfort of your own vehicle. We take you to the best scenery and seek the incredible wildlife in RMNP for you to photograph with your cell phone or camera. This tour travels in your personal vehicle with a minimum of 2 paying guests. Our guide, per your request, will drive your vehicle so you can enjoy the journey.


  • Each RMNPhotographer guide is a friendly, experienced RMNP Photographer.
  • Uniquely, RMNPhotographer Tours stops to view and photograph incredible wildlife and scenery, allowing guests the time they desire.
  • In the comfort of your own vehicle, you avoid cramped vans and unwanted exposure to the elements while enjoying extended stops.
  • Timed-Entry reservations are NOT required as RMNPhotographer is authorized by the National Park Service, U.S. Department of the Interior, to conduct services in Rocky Mountain National Park.
  • Guest are responsible for a NPS entry fee which can be purchased at the gate (Daily $30. Annual and Senior Pass applicable).
  • Larger groups of families and your guests can be accommodated through additional personal vehicles with frequent stops and multi-vehicle communication.


Note: There must be one seat in your vehicle for your RMNPhotographer Guide.

Departure Time and Location

  • TIME: Tours leave in the morning at 8:00 a.m. Afternoon tours depart at 12:30 p.m. Check on the Book Now schedule for availability.
  • LOCATION: Tours begin at Coffee on the Rocks, 510 Moraine Avenue in Estes Park where you can pick-up a pastry and/or fantastic cup of coffee before traveling into RMNP. 
  • GUIDE: Our personable guides have significant photography and RMNP experience. Your guide will meet you on the deck at the entrance to Coffee on the Rocks 15 minutes prior to your departure time.
  • TOURS: All RMNPhotographer Tours operates from May 15 - October 15, 2024. The Lower Valley Winter Tour operates October 15 - May 15.

Mountains To Sky Tour

Our knowledgeable and friendly guides are experienced RMNP photographers who help you capture images of a lifetime on your cell phones or cameras. 

  • Tour through RMNP on Trail Ridge Road, the highest highway in the United States (12,183 ft.), to the “top of the world” at the Alpine Visitor Center. 
  • See snow-covered mountain vistas and lush green valleys, alpine lakes, rolling streams, and waterfalls. 
  • Seek gentle deer, dynamic elk, and massive moose allowing you to capture magnificent photos. 
  • Return to tour Bear Lake Road, the most popular area in the park including Moraine Park and scenic Sprague Lake.

Our knowledgeable and friendly guides are experienced RMNP photographers who help you capture images of a lifetime on your cell phones or cameras. 

  • Tour through RMNP on Trail Ridge Road, the highest highway in the United States (12,183 ft.), traveling Estes Park to Grand Lake. 
  • With your cell phone and camera, capture lush green valleys, alpine lakes, rolling streams, waterfalls, and the Continental Divide. 
  • Seek gentle deer, dynamic elk, and massive moose allowing you to capture magnificent photos. 
  • Travel through historic Kawuneeche Valley to lunch (on your own) in the quaint village of Grand Lake before returning to Estes Park.

Lakes and Meadows Tour

  • Travel to the Alluvial Fan, Horseshoe Falls, Hidden Valley and the breath-taking views from Many Parks Curve.
  • Experience Moraine Park and stroll around Sprague Lake with incredible views of the continental divide (our favorite place in the park). 
  • Seek wildlife including gentle deer, dynamic elk, and massive moose allowing you to capture magnificent photos.
  • Experience the incredible beauty of RMNP without high altitude travel.
